Quick answers before you fill in the form.

• How long until I get a quote back?

  Within 24 hours, usually within a few hours during business days. The more detail you give in the form (size of property, number of storeys, surfaces, photos), the more accurate the quote.

• Do you need to visit the property to quote?

  Most jobs are quoted off photos and your description, no site visit needed. James only comes out before quoting for unusual or large jobs (commercial, two-storey complex roofs, body corp portfolios). For everything else, two photos by SMS is enough.

• Is the quote a fixed price or an estimate?

  Fixed price. James quotes off what you describe; if anything significant changes when he gets on site (a roof has more valleys than the photo showed, an extra building you forgot to mention), he confirms the change with you before doing the work. No surprises on the invoice.

• Do I have to pay anything to get the quote?

  No. Quotes are free and no obligation. You decide if you want to go ahead. If you do, James schedules a date that works for you and the next thing you see is the before-and-after photos when the job is done.

• How soon can you do the work?

  Most jobs get booked within a week or two of you confirming, depending on weather and current load. Spring (September–November) gets busier so book earlier in that window. Pre-sale jobs scheduled against your listing date, 4-6 weeks before photos works best.

• What payment methods do you accept?

  Bank transfer is the standard, invoice issued by email after the job, 7-day payment terms. Cash on the day is fine if you prefer. No card payments (avoids the surcharge being passed on to you).
